Mythica Radio is the streaming arm of Dionysis Media: a continuous, curated internet radio station built around the idea that music should have a point of view. We don’t just shuffle tracks. We build shows with moods, arcs, and human decisions behind them.
The Platform
The station runs on Subwave, an internet radio platform built for modern broadcasters. Subwave handles the stream, scheduling, and delivery, which lets us focus on what actually matters: choosing what goes on air and why.
AI DJs and Human Curation
Each show is guided by an AI DJ. The DJ picks the music, arranges the flow, and provides spoken color between tracks — introductions, context, transitions, and the occasional aside. This gives Mythica Radio a consistent voice and the flexibility to run around the clock without a human sitting at a mixing desk for every hour.
But the DJ does not operate in a vacuum. A person decides the show’s concept, its target mood, its genre boundaries or lack of them, and the final say on what makes the rotation. The AI handles execution; the human sets the direction. If a show is too narrow, too safe, or off-brand, that’s a decision we correct by hand.
All Genres, No Borders
We do not treat genre as a fence. On any given day you might hear synthwave, folk, jazz, metal, ambient, hip-hop, country, electronic, or something that doesn’t fit cleanly anywhere. The unifying factor is not genre — it’s quality and intent. A show might be built around a single era, a single feeling, or a deliberately wide mix. The variety is the point.
